Hot Drop Speakers
Inspired by the moment when a droplet hits water to create a ripple effect, designer Vincent Säll saw a connection between this visible phenomenon & sound waves – the result being the Drop the Beat speakers. Deep huh?! The ceiling-mounted design provides unrestrained, multidirectional sound that resonates through a natural cone shape within a cylindrical body. Designed with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism, they’re not instantly recognizable as speakers, giving them a bit of mystery until crystal clear audio is heard.

Will there be a visible ripple effect from the music
Vincent Säll says
The cone is designed to force the soundwaves bounce. The inspiration comes from the water ripple effect, when a cone like shape is created by a water drop hitting the surface. Thank you
