With such vivid color pattern, I’ll put it in the planter along with the plant. Everybody would be able to hear the music but not know where it is coming from.

Working in the garage (under my car, elbow deep in a wood working project, fixing my son’s RC helicopter), it would be nice to have (great sounding) speakers at a fixed location (on the wall, on top of the garage fridge) and play my iPod Touch through the wifi and keep the controls easily at hand.

I would definitely use it in my bathroom. Speakers in your bathroom are great for showering so you can sing and rock out and so you can put classical music on and impress your guests when they pee.

This was meant to be shown off. I’m carrying it on my shoulder 80′s style.

I would use the speaker in my room for studying, reading, chilling and some good ol’ fashion mood music. I would use it in my garage when I clean my car or work on my car or motorcycle. If I found a good safe way to attach it I would put it on my bike for when I’m riding. I would take it to the park to use during our ultimate frisbee sessions. I would put it in my backpack for when I’m riding my longboard. I would take it to tailgate parties and to motorcycle gatherings. It would make great sound for a public park barbeque or picnics with my lady friend. I would use it all the time.

A great sound-music needs something pretty,sound is a great thing why don’t have somethig equal like sound !!! THAT’S WHY i like it and i’ll use Sonos PLAY:3 everywhere and especially at my living room,because needs you in your quiet place !!

If it doesn’t have a battery then longboard/motorcycle are out but I have a small portable generator which makes all my other uses totally doable.

I would use it in living room/creative studio. I’m a design student so everyday I have people coming over to work here. And one of our creativity exercises is to play some music related to the topic we’re working on, so wifi Sonos would be great!

I think it would be perfect in my studio, between Architecture and Design books!

I would use it at work. I would leave the Sonos PLAY:3 over night so it would be on already when I get to work. I would stream Star Wars “Imperial March” Darth Vader Theme from the parking lot to it before I enter the building so everybody would know that I have arrived.

I love music, I always have. When I was a teenager I’d carry my walk-man anywhere and everywhere – earphones at all times and when everyone would go to bed I’d turn on some music on the stereo… now I’m trying to make my son dance – he’s a bit shy even though when he was little he’d move to any tune I played! In my studio near my desk so that i can enjoy clutter free music from my comp, phone or mp3 play kept away from my desk while im drawing.

I listen to music all the time. I’ve tested SONOS and I love it! For a design student it’s too expensive though. But a free one would change the stiuation!

In my life! Any time, any place!

That’s the brilliance of the Sonos, I’d use it everywhere! But what would really be cool is that I could picnic in the park across from my house (where I can still get my wifi), and listen to my music while drinking wine and playing bols.

I’d use it to fill my small apartment with awesome sound from this awesome compact player by Sonos… Let the good times begin.

The Sonos Play:3 would hang out in my office but now that the weather is getting nicer, I might have to open up the door and work from the patio… it looks like this could help me bring my music with me.

I would use the Sonos PLAY3 at my studio space. I am a photographer with a darkroom and I would put it in the darkroom so I could stream music from my computer out in my main space without having to have a stereo with a lot of lights in the darkroom. As I spend many hours in the darkroom at a time, having music playing in the background would be awesome.

I would have to switch up rooms depending on the occasions. Anywhere from my bedroom to my massage studie to my living room for gathers.

This is a fine piece of technology for anyone who enjoys music and wants to have it anywhere, including in and around the home like I do. Giving out a Sonos Play :3 is awesome to start. Giving the player a custom paint job by a world renownd leader in creative art makes it even better! The painted Sonos would be perfect anywhere. My favourite places to have it would be on my work desk to relax, out beside the hot tub while alone or with friends, in the bathroom during a shower to sing with, or in the kitchen while cooking! It would be a wonderful addition to your music technological arsenal. A high-tech must-have.

The most wonderful thing about music is that it doesn’t matter where you are, what you do, why you’re there or how you’re doing it. It’s transcendental, it’s spiritual, it’s omnipresent, it’s religious without code and dogma, it’s an experience like no other.

What better honor then for such a magnificent speaker than to be able to play great quality music wherever you are. To be able to bring smiles and a little toe tapping to people whether they be loved ones at home, strangers in the park, colleagues at work, friends at a party, children at the ground, old folks at the community center….

So where would I use it? Everywhere it makes somebody’s day a little happier listening to the music.

I spent every penny I own, or will own for next 30 years, on a house that can only be termed a “fixer upper”. I would use a sweet sonos for motivation in turning this shell into a home worthy of YD. metallica, for demo, Kronos quartet for thoughtful design and I’ll take suggestions for everything inbetween.
