Coffee Loving Umbrella
Try carrying your tall café latté in the rains! One hand full of your stuff, the other has an umbrella….get the drift? The solution is to get a functional Umbrella, like the one designed by Jung-Woo Lee. A convenient coffee-cup rim integrated into the handle solves the issue. I say cheers to more coffee and bring on the rains!

Why does the holder part angle off the main stem like it does? If it’s raining there’s going to be a choice between: Coffee upright and wet head, or dry head and spilling coffee.

agreed, when the rain isnt coming down at 45 deg and you have the umbrella in a regular upright position you spill your overpriced coffee. derr

And with some strong winds you might end up without umbrella AND coffee.

you guys make me laugh and I wouldn’t carry a coffee in rainy day anyway lol

I agree with the other comment : in case of wind .. not really efficient.
But nice story around this concept

Interestingly, people who invent such things themselves would use their inventions? I would like to see a designer who goes with an umbrella with coffee and during the rainy. Although it seems to me, and without rain it would be quite inconvenient to carry an open umbrella at such angle and with weighted bottom.

I can’t help wondering that instead of using a paper cup in the tray, the designer could integrate a thermal flask that fits snugly so it wouldn’t fall out.
Interesting idea, for people with children or bags in their other hand!
