Advanced Go-Carting
When someone says your car looks or drives like a go-cart it’s not considered a good thing. Despite how much fun they are, it seems no one wants their car compared to one. Maybe transportation designer Florian Dobe can put a spin on the stereotype with this little concept. Sporting tiny 10″ rims, this vehicle is equal parts sportscar and go-cart.
It has been created with two distinct “states” in mind, an open and a closed. In the open state it’s the 2 seater go-cart inspired sportscar, and in the closed sate the seats fold seamlessly into the body to create a sculpture.

Brilliant folding seats/sculpture concept. I’d like to know more, planned power source, etc. Design could be a bit more beautiful, but that’s in the eye of the beholder I suppose. Excellent.

Great concept. New way to lock your car, too! I just have issue with the author’s first 2 sentences. The MINI prides itself on its go-kart handling and while I suppose I wouldn’t want my car to look like one, I consider “your car drives like a go-kart” a huge compliment.

Good looking. But, why small wheels are better then normal size. I think for small wheels you need many torque power. Nice look but it isnt design in real form

Great looking swoopy design and lovely renders, but tiny wheels like that would have no grip and the car would be very unstable… I wouldn’t want to roll it with those collapsible seats!
