Projection Mobile Phones
It’s getting there, day by day, closer and closer. It’s only a matter of time before mobile projection technology makes its way into the mass market. This concept by Stefano Casanova is a Windows based mobile phone that can project your desktop to an flat surface. The micro light projector is actually integrated into the LCD so in order to activate it, you have to flip the screen down. Conceptual but interesting.

Call me nut’s but this will be the future. The mobile phone is going to replace the laptop. Eventually the phone will just plug into a display connected with a keyboard and a mouse via bluetooth and off you go.
Everything else will be a peripheral.
Just a matter of time.

Cute, but like said, nothing new.
Also, projectors are not that thin.. YET.
But I think I saw somewhere a working prototype of a phone with a projector already… can’t remember where.

Nothing new? Maybe I’m not completely up to date but I’ve never seen or heard of a cellphone projector – can anybody tell me what company has developed (or at least had the vision to develop it)?
Anyway, I agree with Freakshow: this is definitely the future!

Este teléfono mobil creo que es ideal para la nueva generación que siempre esta de prisa y que quiere todo compacto. Seria perfecto para un estudiante, maestro o persona de juntas que necesite projectar algun trabajo para presentar. La pregunta ahora va ser cuanto cuesta y cuanta memoria almacena?

not with today projector technology…
lamps are to big…lenses are too big..
led are brights, but require lenses to put them on focus,
i wonder why they dont make rgb laser,.then it will go to the next level!!

This won’t be available anytime soon. THis is the problem with product designers as opposed to design engineers – you guys always design stuff that can’t be made (e.g. screen too large for the enclosure, not enough room for engine in a car, etc). ANY FOOL can design something like this.

Nothings wrong with engineers not being able to accommodate current desires. The relationship between engineers and designers is a mutual benefit that leads to progression. No engineer believes their work is ever done. What motivation would they have if there were no inspirational designs to challenge them? What motivation would designers have if you limited them to only todays abilities?
Any fool can tell when something isn’t feasible yet, and only fools design something that has already been done.

can i asked if you can Mobile Phone Projectors but not all mobile system just to divert the incoming calls to show the numbers & massages for example during the cars or ….
i thing we need something like modulator than mobile
also i have gsm car alarm system with phone pat but if i conceited with the Projectors system will be more valuable

tht phone is so cool ll it needs is a built in laser projection keyboard
ive seen another good projector phone and they have been on sale for about 2 months now you can see the spec of the device here
