The Bored Jacket
Takkiainen is a jacket for lonely or bored people. It is designed to help the wearer to get in contact with others. Since we brush against each other every day as we move around in the city, we can use our clothes as a medium for meeting people and communicating with them. The jacket is made out of Velcro strips of different widths that have been sewn together side by side to form alternating hook and pile stripes. When these materials touch each other, they grab onto each other. The lonely user can be happily connected with other loners simply by walking around in the jacket. Even babies can be attached to their parents.

I think this product really is super! I mean, of course i wouldn’t trust my babe to some Velcro stripes, or (geee) in the subway, but when i am thinking of the idea behind i think is a very cool one. I mean anyway the jacket is called Lonely Jacket: who would have a babe and walk in the subway if one’s lonely??!?!? LOL.. i am joking. No. My problem is that, if someone will wear this jacket he/she would have quite small chances to “stick” to others because very few people will have this jacket. Or ifwe speak about regular clothes than the person you are getting stick to wouldn’t be too happy.

Thats a nice…lint, thread, debris, furry things, hair, and unknown dirt object collector…
Be sure not to get into a car with cloth seats or sit on a wooly based fabric covered couch…
Yikes…..

what if you fold it over? or after you wash it? you’ll probably only have to pull it and everything will come out of the dryer.
-very fun idea though
