Auto design that floats my boat…
Design mash-ups can be so much fun. Take this 1963 Corvette Stingray inspired boat design by Swedish designer Bo Zolland. He takes the split-back window design of the classic American muscle car and fuses it into a watercraft that manages to come off very futuristic and ultra luxurious at the same time. I am not sure of having the backseat passenger’s head just inches away from the exposed motor, but this is just a concept after all. Rumor has it, if you really want one of these made, Zolland will direct you to a Swedish boat manufacturer called “Stand-Craft” that will be glad to carve one out as is.

very pretty but like so many boats designed by “designers” its a washout. The heat would be immense, combined with the noise would give most people a real good case of sea sickness. I see what may be “t” tops, great, so where do they go? Ahhh concepts, so much fun, so easy, so what.

Fair point. Though if this ran off a hydrogen cell motor there wouldn’t be a noise. And water contains hydrogen. Certainly not feasible right now, but it presents some interesting future possibilities.

can the windows open? and do you have high durability windshield wipers? the spray would most certainly cover up the windshield! also, i suggest you cover up the motor with a hard casing. what if the driver has long hair and it gets caught in the motor?
