Creator of iTrunk Fred Pinel established the Paris atelier Pinel et Pinel in 1998. In just under a decade, he has built a reputation for the brand as the torchbearer of traditional French trunk making but with a twist. He redefines this nostalgic genre for the strictly now creating his so-called ‘clever trunks’ for such diverse modern paraphernalia as Apple computer equipment and Michael Jordan’s own collection of Airs. This collaboration with sculptor and his old friend Jacques Owczarek we think is very clever. Created in white gold with ‘mobile’ ebony along with a calf leather mini-trunk, this is one off and limited to only 20 editions.
