Shoe Fetish For NYC

Shoe Fetish For NYC

There is a saying that one should judge a person by the shoe he wears, for they reveal his true status. The New York Urban Fashion Shoe (NYUF) is a step in this direction, but comes with handy technology to make it the perfect fit. To elaborate: the shoes are made from leather and subjected to preformed silicone treatment with heat (applied on Technic Fabric and Neoprene) to make them water resistant. The rubber sole is injected and its interior has a gel structure to keep your feet comfy.

This Time It’s A Sexy Watch

This Time It’s A Sexy Watch

Besides it’s sexy looks, what I like most about the OXY Watch is that it’s unisex. Routine specs like Time, Date, Calendar, and Alarm are included, but what makes it stand out is its gorgeous E-ink display. It’s been conceived in several versions with stainless steel and colored leather strap combos, encasing a monochrome display with mineral glass. XKALIA Typography has been used to display the numerics, which really goes well with the styling.

Skate Hard in Destructos!

Skate Hard in Destructos!

These shoes right here are called “Destructo Sports Action Shoes!” Oh my goodness. I know, and you know, that if you do a lot with your feet, your feet shells explode. And when I say feet shells I of course mean shoes. Your shoes are worthless! They come apart at the flick of a knife! But not anymore, now you’ve got these amazing piece-by-piece strong shoes, by Thomas Balaguer.

Cut Throat Or Wrist

Cut Throat Or Wrist

Rarely do we cover jewelry on YD and rarely does a design studio like Art Lebedev come up with some. Presenting here is the Punctirus Bracelet or Necklace, which according to the designers can “never go unnoticed.” I daresay I agree, not for the clever styling but for the fact that it goes well around the neck and the wrist. Anything multi-functional these days is a bonus, especially in “expensive” category! But I must add, as a choker the Punctirus gives a vamp-ish look! I love it!

Haoshi X Rings Review

Haoshi X Rings Review

I’m a sucker for unique things and the Haoshi X Rings more than satisfy my wanton needs. I love the Animal Series of rings made of resin set in sterling silver. They’re eye catching, high quality, beautifully designed and unisex. My only regret is not knowing about them sooner to include in our DO WANT! Gift Guide but who needs a holiday to shop! At $75 a ring with 10 animals to choose from – I say go treat yourself and buy one!

If Those Little Lights Aren't Cutting It

If Those Little Lights Aren’t Cutting It

So you’re hearing impaired. And the telephone rings. But you aren’t looking at the phone, so you can’t see that little light flashing on it.* Or you’re looking for a new solution for waking up in the morning. Or the doorbell rings. What ever do you do? You come over here and check this right out, right now! It’s a wristband that informs about all of that at once, through sensations in the skin!

Replacing the Backs of Chairs

Replacing the Backs of Chairs

What we’ve got here is a casual clothes rack that wonders why, since the body that the clothes are going to be on is all smooth surface and lumpy contents, why then, is the clothing hanger made to hold clothing flat? Well, probably to save space, right? Well heck, not every bit of clothing is meant to sit in a closet. Some articles are just so pretty they’ve gotta sit pretty on this “Lean” rack.

iSkin Solo Review

iSkin Solo Review

iPhone cases are a dime a dozen but a handful stand out combining functionality with beautiful design. iSkin is synonymous with protective soft goods so it didn’t surprise me how good the Solo was for the iPhone. It’s crazy affordable and there is a color/design option for every taste. The hardest part is deciding which one to get. Hit the jump for my review.

Umbrella For Graffiti

Umbrella For Graffiti

Designer Liu Hsiang-Ling quite poetically brings out the relationship between an umbrella and the rain. Simple pleasures from the past that we have long forgotten; jumping into puddles or using a stick to draw in the sand! Her take is this Rain Brush Umbrella designed with a paint-brush (silicon) like tip, so that you can dip it into the nearest rain puddle and start drawing water graffiti on the sidewalk. A nice past-time if you’re waiting for a bus or something.

Get The Message?

Get The Message?

If you like something, it’s neat to endorse it in your day-to-day lives. Like when you go to Disneyland you buy Mickey stuff, likewise with this delightful set of Icon bags. They do nothing but carry your stuff in style! Bottom line we have a Windows range available, so let’s make the most of it: Message (Messenger Bag), My Photo (Camera Bag), Documents (Laptop Bag) & My Document (Laptop Bag)

Stix n Stone May Break My Bones

Stix n Stone May Break My Bones

Ah, no one is breaking anything here, I simply wanted to say this aloud that’s it. But here’s a reason why you’ll love this 2-version jewelry called Stix & Stones; it has discreet magnets in place so that you can play with the design and create your own pendant. A different one every day! The Basic Necklace includes four magnetic spheres of silver and black nickel. The Full Necklace cord comes with six brushed stainless steel stix of assorted lengths, and six magnetic spheres of silver and black nickel. Take your pick!

What Time is it? It's Time to Refill

What Time is it? It’s Time to Refill

Marty! It’s time to turn your clock back upside right. This is a wristwatch that’s got two titles. Alternates, if you will: one is “Liquid Time” while the alternative is “From Nowhere to Nowhere.” And as you may have guessed, this wristwatch has a clever little take oh how the 5th dimension TIME works.

Malcolm Fontier Mojito Wallet Review

Malcolm Fontier Mojito Wallet Review

Only $20! I bet that caught your attention. It’s no joke. The Mojito Wallet is available at a reduced priced direct from Malcolm Fontier. If the name isn’t familiar – the company makes vegan (synthetic) leather soft goods with lots of style at a fraction of the price. Male readers can probably empathize with my wallet woes. I carry a bulky leather wallet big and heavy enough to change the way I walk. The Mojito is one of the slimmest wallets I’ve seen and for $20, there’s no competition around.
