Seconds Moving Hours

Seconds Moving Hours

On our never-ending travels from the birth to the grave, there’s lots of minutes, hours, waiting for years to pass, all the loveliness and ickiness of the world traveling about us. But then there’s the seconds. The tiny ants carrying the picnic of our lives unto the future. Daniel Will-Harris knows this, and seeks to show us every day time moving forward being pushed by seconds. The numbers move, the moment stays the same. This is the “Rush Hour” watch, a highly modern sort of watch.

Emotional Backpack For Cyclists, What Fun!

Emotional Backpack For Cyclists, What Fun!

Here is a totally cool backpack that goes by the name of SEIL Bag. It’s a backpack meant for cyclists and features an LED Display (flexible PCB) on its face. The bag is designed to work in two modes: Driving Mode and Emotion Mode. In the Driving Mode it shows left and right turn signals for the rider, which is controlled via a detachable controller. This makes it easy for the following traffic to know the riders intent. The cool-quotient is upped with the Emotion Mode; here you can display a variety of emoticons, just for the heck of it.

A Random Time

A Random Time

A watch that you place upon your wrist for the purpose of telling the time, but not for time’s sake, for the sake of keeping wonder and playfulness alive. This watch is called “Time Lines” and its apparent improper and random placement of lines in the design create “a dialogue with the clock face,” keeping for itself a unique identity while it tells you when it’s time to go check Yanko for updates.

Such Perfection in Wrinkles

Such Perfection in Wrinkles

Behold the imperfect human body. The following is part of a collection of jewelry called “Ode to Imperfection” by Christiaan Lebens. This collection takes the lost art of appreciating the beauty of the human body, especially the aging and weathering of the skin, and turns it into fine and lovely jewelry. Made of precious materials, this collection reflects the godliness of the natural landscape of the human body.

Is This The Future Of Hand Baggage?

Is This The Future Of Hand Baggage?

The scene is this; you’re a weary traveler, jet-lagged and waiting to catch your connecting flight. You need rest and sleep pods & Business Class Lounges are out of your reach. The thing with airports and highly sensitive places is that the threat of terror-attacks and medical influences is surreal. So peace of mind while catching 40 winks can be a problem. According to Anna, the solution is to carry an emotionally secure object…much like the teddy bear from childhood. In this case it’s the Polo Backpack. It comes with pillows and a sleep-cover, to provide you the emotional security you’d like while resting.

Seeing Time Differently

Seeing Time Differently

Inside this post you will see five watches. Of these five watches, there are four designs, one with two colorways: black and white. These watches are made by designer Denis Guidone, who says, “I don’t like to design watches, what I really like is to design time” That’s a pretty bold thing to say, yes? But Guidone’s got some pretty fabulous watches here. Let’s take a look.

Who Needs A Diamond When You...

Who Needs A Diamond When You…

Not impressed with diamonds or carat size? The M3 and M4 rings might appeal to you. Each stainless steel screw is set in sterling silver, cut to reveal the screw threads. It’s even removable should you suddenly need a screw in that size for some emergency. Screwdriver not included.

Wrangler Asks You to Let Go

Wrangler Asks You to Let Go

That jeans company you and I love the most, Wrangler, is about to do something rather unorthodox. They’re going to ask you to Stop Thinking. I don’t just mean turn into a goofball, no, rather let go of your mapped-out world and allow your mind and body to take part in a wild journey into the unknown. It’s a challenge. Four people from the public, in the UK specifically, are going to be asked to drop everything (except their passport) and rock with Wrangler into the outer limits.

Carbonless and Twistable

Carbonless and Twistable

You’re riding your bike through the mountains. You hit a bump. Your water bottle flies out, jumps off a cliff, and you’re left to want for water the rest of your journey. What SHOULD you have done? You should have gotten this “Anyway” bottle cage designed by Ian Hsu. Know why? The Anyway is made of non-carbon fiber material that not only looks fabulous, but is both lighter and more rigid than the competition.

Only the Flyest Hanging

Only the Flyest Hanging

You know you’ve got to hang your clothes up when you want to attain full fashion victory, right? Well you DO. And to do it, you’ve got to have the most flight-ready hangers. There is only one way. The “Hangar” hanger from Chetan Sorab. It’s shaped like an airplane. Inspired from early World War aircraft, made mostly for kids, but also for me, because I love it.

Watch Is All Buttons

Watch Is All Buttons

When designing this timepiece collection for odm, Michael Young altered the conventional mindset of how a watch looks and the result is this gorgeous collection. The position of time panel and buttons are ingeniously reversed for a fresh way to read time, giving its eponymous name  – Reverse.

iPhone's Fat Shoes

iPhone’s Fat Shoes

This is the fattest of all the iPhone covers. If you know of a fatter one, I challenge it to a duel! This project/product is called ARKHIPPO and is from the ARK system of coverups, this one dealing specifically in iPhone covering and protecting and standing up. Yes ineedy! Not only does this huge hunk of resin protect your fragile bit of technology, it allows it to both stand on its own and sit in the crook of your neck for easy phonecall use. See the pic for this classic phone pose lost to most modern ‘smarts.
