Ultimate Urban Commuter
Fed up with a tiresome train commute in his local Sydney, designer Richard Heath designed this modern city commuter, the BlueSkyBike. The electric assisted, folding design features a rear hub motor, angled folding mechanism for easy transportation and storage, a regenerative braking system for supplemented energy, and even smartphone linking capability that makes it possible to monitor energy systems and the bike’s security. A perfect example of a designer that needs to do more biking in reallity than rendering on a computer.
A commuter bike with no fenders = big fail.
