Dancing Cups
Ballare (Italian for dance) is a series of ceramic drinking cups by designer Yury Dovganyuk with a twist… literally. Inspired by a dancer’s movement, the elegant cups appear to twirl before your eyes. Almost too pretty to drink out of!

Nice CAD work!
But seriously, does this guy know what draft is?
Maryline says
I like. It’s a dynamic design, it really appears as if there is movement

Hum….have Yury Dovganyuk ever play with clay before?
If never, try it. The design just isn’t work in the real world.

Like it a lot. Don’t know if it is possible with porcelain, but with lost wax casting you could make anything you want. no draft required. It just isn’t suitable for serial production (unless it is at a high price). Just have to find the right material, you could even use metal and than use porcelain enamel to get a nice finish.

With Rapid prototyping you can make it, then make a cast of it…
