K-wine - Finger Food Wine Plate by Matteo Bertanelli & Michele Di Monte
How many times during a cocktail, a reception or a party, food & beverage are served as a buffet and everybody eat standing up. The problem is that most of the time it’s difficult to find out a spot where you can put the plate together with the glass of wine and normally people remain limited in movements and connections. K-wine is an elegant plate especially made for finger-food and studied to redefine the way to serve wines.
K-wine shape is especially thought to accommodate in the middle the glass: one hand hold the plate and the glass while the other is free for drink, eat or for simply say hi to a friend. The difference between K-wine and a traditional plate with glass holder is that K-wine move the weight from one side to the middle where normally you put your hand to hold the plate, in that way even if the glass is full and the plate height of food everything is balanced. In the lower part a simple grasp permit to hold permanently the plate with few fingers.

Wow, that is such a good idea, I hate not being able to eat food in front of me and I’ve done the plate/wine glass juggle too many times to count.

Fair play to you my friend
we were asked to come up with an idea to finish the glass/plate struggle in college and none of us came close to solving it as well as you have.
kudos to you
