Fluid Multi-tap

So far we have seen some really radical designs for power strips and adding to the list is this fluid Any Shape-shifting Socket. Constructed out of a soft plastic material, it molds into any shape you like. The jack takes in most kinds of plugs thus making it easy for you to hook up appliances and gadgets. The fluidity in design is the key element here. We have to let go of the restrictive rectangular strip that we are so used to and accept shape-shifting sculptural designs as a part of our interior setup.

This is such a cool gadget! Great idea.

  • Shiverbrains says:

How is this more flexible than a wire cord?

I don’t think a blob this size would fit behind a desk, under a table or any of the places powerstrips are normally found.

  • its very decorative things..

  • wj says:

how does it deperate the line and te neutral?

  • Scott Baker says:

I’d have to agree with you there. Looks funky – totally useless from a practical standpoint. I Want my wires safe and organized and most of all unseen – why would i Want a decorative power strip.

  • Charlie says:

Totally useless, I see the practicality of such a gadget, but wouldn’t it shock you if you go to touch it? or to move it? and how would it be able to sustain current if the whole thing is not a conductor? hmmm…..maybe I’m just taking it the wrong way…

  • Hunter says:

On the bright side, you can add as many plugs as is electrically safe.
