A Fountain Pen For The Modern

Fountain pens may lend an air of sophistication but damn can they get anymore dated? I mean all I need is a monocle, a bowler hat, a tweed suit and I’m all set. This fountain pen design but Vivien Muller updates the ubiquitous writing tool to where I wouldn’t mind using one. Okay ergonomics may have taken a backseat here but hell, it’ll look sexy just sitting on my desk.

That looks very good, but I wish it was a little more ergonomic, right now it looks as if it’ll slit one’s fingers.

I wonder why the designer stopped with such an impratical shape, I thought design wasn’t all about the way it look, but also the ergonomy and simplicity of use.

Yet another pen as quill concept that have been circulating around for years and it’s not ergonomic. It’s not just boring, it’s bad!

I don’t get how everybody keeps on ranting about the ergonomics of this thing. This looks as it would fit your grip perfectly and definitely better than a round one. My only concern would be the balance of this thing since it looks quite top-heavy.

    It’s interesting…
Don’t like traditional-looking fountain pens? Try a Parker 51 or a Pilot Vanishing Point or Pilot Varsity or Pelikan M75 or Sheaffer Agio or even a Zebra V-301 or a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen–it’s actually a brush that uses fountain pen ink. Any of those will work better than that quill wannabe. Heck, even a properly cut quill pen will be better for writing than that thing. If you can’t actually write with it, is it really a pen?

so where can I buy this??? l ol…more than happy to buy this pen if it exists for real.
