LED Light Show In Water

This artsy design project by Seung-Jin Lee calls for a series of tubes embedded with LEDS floating right on the water’s surface. A computer controller experience then creates magical patterns of light. Okay, somebody like Bjork or Radiohead or Daft Punk needs to get on this ASAP. I can imagine amazing future concerts utilizing this technology.

could this somehow be used to help people who have been stranded in the water if it floats up?? Just a weird random initial thought..

This is an original idea! We see so many led projects nowadays that one that deals with a different support material (e.g. water) is very inspiring.

This idea has already been seen it was commisioned by Steve Wynn for his las vegas hotel
the job was done by Richard Bleasdale using over 5000 color kinetics leds and a pixlemad system to control there leds are alot lower in the water and they have an air bubble system to bubble the water which frosts it so you see the graphics on the surface job completed about 2 and a half years ago
