The Cycool is designed for people who hate working out and hate sweating. It goes without saying if you work out, you’re going to sweat - thus we have millions of overweight (but dry) people around the world. With the Cycool, put those sweat gland in check. The system is powered by your own peddling. The faster you peddle, the faster the fan.

Some green concepts make their environmental statements by incorporating sustainable materials or technology, others simply draw attention to the issue by their design. Then there is “The Thunderbolt” Scooter Concept by Henrik Björkman. Though there is nothing groundbreaking about an electric scooter, my grandmother had one after all, there are a few interesting features behind The Thunderbolt Electric Scooter.

Hankering for that roller coaster ride feeling? Live vicariously thru the 4NE1 (get it?) seating solution. These chairs are suspended from the roof of a vehicle. This reconfiguration increases the amount of interior space. The design was created with the elderly and physically impaired in mind but as its name suggests, anyone can use it.

Tipper trucks haven’t change much in the last century so designer Haishan Deng took it upon himself to create the Super Tipper Truck. Current tipper trucks can only unload their cargo one way. This usually requires the driver to maneuver ever so carefully. With the Super Tipper, door access on all four sides allow it to dump its junk in any direction.

Volitan is a new lightweight and futuristic concept boat for everyday peeps like you and I. Using solid sails, wind power and solar energy, the Volitan will also be the greenest on the seas. Her name comes from a word that means “flying fish” which she sorta looks like when her sails are down.

Marc Kirsch’s diploma project was created in collaboration with Volkswagen design in Wolfsburg Germany. A three-seat prototype car powered by an electric engine. The project was created considering the visual and conceptional influence of internationally renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.
