Designer Robert utilizes polished lacquer to create pieces that are absolute in shape and impeccable in a glossy finnish color of super white, soft sand or mink.

Organic in wood, Robert allows grains to split, looks for worm holes and color variations. Logs are selected from small mills who utilize only fallen trees and then are put directly on the lathe for carving. The chips fly and the shape is revealed. Air dry for 2 months and back on the lathe again for finishing. What result is the play of wood grains on shape and form.
