All ye weary travelers with a strolley in tow; I understand your pain for finding available sockets, just to juice up ye gadgets. Ah, I suck at poetry but you get my drift right? The Crumpler Dry Red Collection

The Crumpler Dry Red Collection

If you dig into the history of Crumpler Bags, it comes as no surprise to discover that they started off as a messenger bags company! Innovations and strategic planning made them venture into laptops, backpacks and travel luggage, building up the brand to where it is now. I wish they could redo the magic of a 2006 promo where Crumpler Stores in New York were accepting ‘beer in exchange for bags!’ Say, if I were to send in Antarctic Nail Ale, will they send me the entire Dry Red Collection?

Travelogue with Total Recall

Travelogue with Total Recall

I have this keen sense of attaching places with certain smells, especially when I’m on vacations. For example, whenever I wear this Armani perfume of mine, it triggers of memories of my trip to Japan, because I used that fragrance on my trip. Likewise, many people associate different images and sounds with their travels. SEED is like a total recall agent that captures the essence of your travels (sights, sounds and smells) so that you can share them with loved ones.

Explorer Yacht

Explorer Yacht

The Open Water 60 M combines the amenities of a luxury yacht & the storage capabilities of a long-distance cruiser into one superyacht with an explorer-ship aesthetic. The exterior is straightforward & follows a modern expression of form, an upcoming trend in yacht design. In the cabin, modern interior design, traditional elements, & surfaces of wood, stone, & metal fuse to create a strong contrast in texture & color while floor-to-ceiling windows emphasize the open living arrangement.

Yacht for Entertaining

Yacht for Entertaining

Yet another intriguing concept from yacht enthusiast Hyun-Seok Kim. The Voronoi mega-yacht is named after the voronoi pattern of the irregular honeycomb lattice structure that encases it’s upper levels. This yacht was made to entertain. Hot tubs and golfing green occupy the upper deck and within the lattice on the bridge deck lies an indoor garden and luxurious pool area. The interior has all the creature comforts of home and then some. It even has a sleek emergency vessel for a stylish evacuation, but hopefully the captain’s only worry will be avoiding those honeycomb tan lines.

Useful Yacht

Useful Yacht

A winner of the 2011 “Dreamboat” Millennium Yacht Design Award, this brave interpretation of the motor boat concept by designer Hyun-Seok Kim was inspired by all of the natural beauty and fun activities found at sea. Tofi’s unconventional shape and unique furnishings compliment it’s far-out exterior and spaceship aesthetic, stimulating the imagination on board, while features like the hide-away diving board and safety buoy system promote fun in the water.

At Home in the Trees

At Home in the Trees

OMG OMG OMG I love these treehouses! Or Treehotel, rather. Located in Harads, Sweden, this unique collection of hotel rooms is sure to bring you back to your childhood days of club-housing and hide-and-go-seek. Nestled high in the woods, there is a room for every personality: the Cabin, Blue Cone, Bird’s Nest, and most intriguing of all, the Mirrorcube (if you can find it).

Travelling with a Closet

Travelling with a Closet

One of the first things to do when I check into a hotel is to unpack my bags and inspect the closet. I hate to leave my suitcase messy and prefer to arrange clothes neatly in drawers. The flipside is unpacking takes time. The Traveler’s Closet is intended to solve this problem. The case is designed as drawers and the handle lengthens to host hangers. The only thing is I hope it doesn’t end up wrinkling my clothes.

Enjoyment in Heavy Times

Enjoyment in Heavy Times

When you’ve got a heavy time, a time when you’ve got any sort of situation and add a kid to it. Put a kid in any situation and you’ve got a complete emergency 100% of the time. So what do you need to do? You need to give that kid a toy. And since your entire life is an emergency because you’ve got a kid, you need an Emergency Toy. This is the “E-Toy” and it’s made for parents who are traveling with their small children on trains, buses or planes where only the hand luggage is allowed.

Drag That Dress

Drag That Dress

Look, if you’re a chic, nomadic traveler, you can’t be bothered with traditional luggage and bags. The Dragging Dress is some strange rolling skirt hiding a pretty substantial carrier in a big ass bustle. Only captain oblivious wouldn’t notice this mass protruding from your rear but hey, at least you can really live up to that saying, “girl got a lotta junk in her trunk.” Fo’ real tho.

TravSAFE Luggage Aint Nothin to Mess With

TravSAFE Luggage Aint Nothin to Mess With

Alert the airplane police! They’re about to have a whole lot of confused airport burglars on their hands. This project by Shing Lo’s got the “Design Out Crime” tagline attached to it. Why? Because it’s a one-luggage thief deterrent, that’s why. It’s got a honeycomb interior. Locks. A passive alarm system. An active alarm system (that you can set off.)

And it looks so fashionable!

Airport Sleep Pods
