UFO Fans
Dyson Clone your time is up, UFO and aliens are the current flavors of the season. I am referring to the Giko Electrical Fan, which is a close take on spider legs and imaginative UFOs. A part of the INART Company initiative, this fan stands around 90 cm high and has unique blades. The reasoning behind their overly circular form is that air circulation is faster and more powerful thanks to their curves. Apparently research is on to see how manufacturing costs for this design can be reduced. Before you know it, the Giko will be available in stores! Now the aliens have truly landed.
Few specs: the on/off button and speed control is on top of the orb, the motor is placed below the cage with a 10-meter wire for connection.
Designer: Erjon Hatillari for INART

It’s interesting, but I don’t really like the basement and it doesn’t seem enough settled.

I tried, but cannot see the motor…unless its a microchip sized one not yet developed.

I think the motor is goin’ to be placed below the cage.It is an ongoin’ project that’s why you don’t see many features.

The design is splendid! Two more thing to consider…where to put a right size motor and how the rod of the legs goes when it shrink.

Please tell us when is ready for production.

Where does the air come in? If the fan blows omnidirectionally does that mean that a low pressure region will form in the center of the fan that will pull the air back in?

Wow!..that’s a looker for sure but I’m not too thrilled about the legs? I think a more basic stand would suffice but that’s just my 2 cents…

Why do I have scenes of War of the Worlds (2005) running through my head?
