Pontiac Solstice 2.0?
Never mind that Pontiac is a dead and a defunct company. Designer Dejan Hristov has his vision for the next Solstice and I’m wondering if it could have been enough to save them. Sure, Pontiac’s problems had more to do with GM’s legacy policies but nevertheless I like this car. I always felt Pontiac went out on a good note. The Solstice was a looker (cough – Saturn) but Hristov’s vision is much sharper and far more aggressive. What do you think?

As amazing as this concept is, and I really would definitely want it, it doesn't quite fit in with the evolution of design in GM, or Pontiac's last hurrah for that matter. GM seemed to prefer the soft, comfortable curves in a car rather than the bladelike accents more attributed to the auto's italian cousins, such as Lamborghini. Yet, at the same time, the other 50% of brain is saying:
Do want.

The front looks like it is sneezing. Overall I think the design is a bit too busy. If the front was smoother it would look better. To me it looks like a beagle with someone pulling its ears back.
I do like the side coves, they remind me a bit of an early fifties corvette.

Wow, that car looks pretty good. I like the almost lightning lights.

Cool. Looks like a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

Hum, It has some design cues that I like, but overall it´s overlydesigned, too much going on, which doens´t help the concept, try to "un-busy" it a bit, without loosing some key elements and this will look awesome.

Over design (design per square mm), ugly.
