The Karma Chair is a stylish piece of furniture designed for comfort and simplicity. It’s ergonomically shaped for lounging but the real story is the construction. Made from 2 identically shaped pieces of layered and formed bamboo veneer. They’re individually finished with opposing mating details so they slide-lock together with simple hardware. Flat pack shipping means this thing is destined for IKEA which in turns means it has a 100% chance ending up in my living room. DO WANT!

Wonderful design! reminds me of a modern Adirondack chair.
Brilliant! Love it! I hope it ends up at IKEA, but a nice $500 version would be cool too, maybe gunmetal finishing or something! Great idea Jeffrey!
Vheddi nice form and simplicity. Now we just need to find mini people to sit in them!
Why IKEA?
Its nothing good with IKEA. This is craft, and the designer should have higher ambition than IKEA, who produce garbage.
Craft is about knowledge through action. Craft expresses it self through objects. Let us appreciate it, respect it, and realize what we are doing. Today everything has to be as cheap as possible. And we get what we want; poor quality. When quality no longer is an argument, quality will be the only way to achieve lower costs.
Dont design for IKEA!
agree!!
Cheap DOES NOT mean “poor quality”…
Good design shouldn’t be elitist.
where can i buy these Karma chairs from and what is the price on them?
im be concern for the height of this chair and whether it would support the bigger proportion customers?
can it be made of fiberglass
