CKIE: Suprematism Watch

suprematism_watch_1

The Suprematism watch stems from the Suprematist movement propagated by Russian artist Kazimir Malevich. With the use of strictly geometric shapes and vivid color schemes, the artist would bring the canvas alive.

The watch, designed by Denis Guidone, pays a visually and allegorically rich tribute to the Suprematist approach. Bringing abstract art to timepieces, the watch face is a delight to look at. The hour hand (gray), minute hand (black), and second hand (yellow) bring the canvas alive by creating a new “painting” every twelve hours!

Art’wrist’ry at its best, if I may say!
