Start the Day with a Toasted iPhone

Taking a bite of the reality toast, the Day Maker is an exciting bedside charger and alarm hub that “pops” up the phone with a buzzer, when it’s time to rise and shine! Replicating the most inherent human morning routine of popping the toast for breakfast, this concept captures the essence and is bound to make mornings more pleasant for gadget-freaks like us!

How to use Day Maker

  • Set your phone alarm
  • Insert phone into one of Day Maker’s cradles and push down to charge and set unit
  • When the phone alarm goes off, the spring-loaded cradle will ‘pop’ the phone up
  • Either remove the phone from Day Maker, or activate sleep by pushing the phone back down
  • Repeat until ready

Interesting design but would it only be for the iPhone or would it have special chargers for any phone?

Why 2 phones? So that it can look more like a toaster? Expensive solution to a played-out gimmick.

Is that what you think? Is it REALLY? Or are you just ashamed that you didn't think of it yourself?

I don't know about him, but that's certainly what *I* think.
Why in the world would there be a space for two phones? It's simply idiotic and a waste of money.

What would have been *creative* would be to have a artistic, fake piece of toast "popping out" in lieu of the place for a second phone that most people don't own.

Are you ashamed *you* didn't think of *that* yourself?

Shouldn't it play more off of the toaster look with metal sides?
Other than that this seems like the most useless iphone accessory I've ever seen.

  • The problem with changing to UK is that it also changes the time format to military and changes the display of the phone numbers to xx xxxx xxxx. I wish there was a way to change the week ending date without affecting the time and phone number display.

Umm, usually couples/married couples have the same phone.. that's why there are 2. Personally I think this would be a cute gift for newlyweds 🙂

I don’t think you should blame the designed for the fact that you are still single and live in your parent’s basement. Me and my partner would like to place our both iPhones in the cradle — and so does the designer.

The only acceptable reply to this post is either «well played» or «yeah man».
