Lately I have been loving everything Swedish. On the top of my personal music charts sits a very hip singer called Lykke Li, on my computer I have old episodes of The Muppet Show featuring The Swedish Chef and of course there is the mother of all pre-packaged instant Swedish culture IKEA. Up next from the land of Saab and fjords comes The Doors! No not those doors, these contemporary door designs by Snickarper, a door manufacturer in Sweden or a peanuty chocolate candy bar… both good. Enjoy.

Well it gives some new flavours to your average doors
Actually there are no Swedish fjords… They’re all in Norway 😛 But I love Sweden (maybe since I’m Swedish LOL) and those doors were really nice
No fjords in Sweden? Then what the hell are they studying in this report?

I like Sweden too, thanks for reading…
I love Sweden as well and I’m Norwegian, but please, we are very sensitive about our fjords! 🙂
Fine Norway can keep their fjords and Sweden gets Max Martin and Taco Bell…that’s Swedish no?
Nice design…Could be some good alternatives for my house door.
Well, perhaps it’s just a Norwegian word for a thing that for sure exicists in Sweden as well…?
Were would you even put the Swedish fjords? Sweden nearly has any shoreline.
If you look at this map of Scandinavia:

See those “cracks” in the Norwegian shoreline? Those are fjords. As you can see, Sweden hasn’t got those. Fjords, that is.
How did a post about some very cool doors get stuck on a discussion about fjords and Norway?
The perils of the human brain …
Fortunately these same ‘perils’ brought us things like these awesome Art Deco doors. Totally stuck in the sixties – but lava lamps never really went out of fashion, either!
