Prep Cook’s Dream

A fabricated trough prep sink with electronic interface that controls rinsing functions and garbage disposal synchronization. Developed in heavy collaboration with Kohler kitchen design and engineering group.

Using Active Touch technology to develop a safe interface that is only activated by human touch, eliminating the chance of accidental activation by a pot, pan or other kitchen item.

The short rinse cycle is indicated by a constant blue glow and the synchronized garbage disposal cycle is indicated by a flashing blue glow.

Designer: Anne Kitzmiller

only because someone is cutting up pineapple? come on…

It’s a waste of water, just to wash something down in a trash? Talk about lazy people there.

I think it’s actually a great concept. A small garbage disposal dedicated sink, and the water flow could be less than is normally used in a larger sink with a normal faucet.

Do want.

Maybe it’s just the bracelets, but—

Probably should have hired a hand model for that shoot, rather than focusing on how well she might fill out that satin dress.

Nice hands - for a boxer.

it looks great and probably it’s a nice idea for a world full of water… but

this is wasting, needless and perverse, in times of having increasingly less drinking water.

in 20 years there will be wars about water. :-( I this is not the true future, but I think so.

As MF08 says, wasteful of water and isn’t that type of waste meant to be put in the compost bin?

i think its a nice idea
if all this type of waste is dropped into the same bin it will make the compost process easier surely?
right about the water issue, maybe look at introducing it on a closed loop with some kind of filter/cleaner~nt sure how hygenic it could be but something to look into

Well, if we are going to get into a water shortage discussion — eat less meat. The conversion of water and grain into beef is terribly inefficient. Oh, jeez, now look what you made me do….I sound like a tree hugging liberal. Ahhhh faggitaboddit I’m ordering one of these.
