A Deliciously Designed Smartphone Case

A Deliciously Designed Smartphone Case

Popsicase is the cleverly design smartphone case that’s as sweet looking as it is functional. Its built-in handle extends from the back of the case and makes it easy to hold while you talk, check messages on the move, and of course… selfie! When the handle is retracted, the case is similar in size and shape to any conventional case and protects it from regular wear and drops. Check out the video to see it in action —>

The Droid We're Due For

The Droid We’re Due For

The fruit of smartphone-enthusiast Hege’s imagination, the Meizu Q Hydra is imagined as the latest addition to the budget-friendly Chinese brand’s array of devices. It strays from the trend of slippery curves with a geometric, angular form that’s both ergonomic and stable in the hand. Stark and futuristic, its colorless tones of black, white, light grey and dark grey are complimented by aluminum and chrome finishes. Full specs after the jump —>

Hip to be Square

Hip to be Square

The square-shaped smartphone never caught on, but a look at the BlackBerry L and we might consider it! This BlackBerry beauty captures the brand’s bold styling and core features with both a capacitive touch screen and, of course, an iconic QWERTY keyboard that’s only revealed by use of a rotary slider. Use the volume rocker to scroll the 3.5″ display with 1:1 aspect ratio or touch your way around a variety of modern apps. DO WANT!

Phones of Future Past

Phones of Future Past

Make new friends, but keep the old; Those are silver, these are gold. In the past 20 years we’ve had to say goodbye to so much. Which makes seeing them again an absolutely exhilarating feeling. The Commodore conceptual smartphone is an ode to a tech-lover’s oldest friend. Built to serve the future, but actually a window into a golden past, the phone is sure to give you “dem feels”.

The Eternally Future-proof Smartphone!

The Eternally Future-proof Smartphone!

This concept, by 91 Mobiles, aims to be the end-of-the-line for smartphones… and it really does leave little to be desired. Modular/replaceable hardware for easy and endless upgrading, lifelike holographic video projection, a Lytro full field-depth camera, a vibration transducer speaker system, and super-capacitors with 10x the life of regular batteries. Not to forget, that transparent polymer OLED display with 4k resolution! It all seems to be there… maybe it’s the last jump before body implanted tech!

Ready for the Samsung Galaxy 6?

Ready for the Samsung Galaxy 6?

The latest kid on the block is the Samsung Galaxy 6 concept phone. Its super simple and super thin, quite the candidate for #Bendgate … who knows! The design includes a high-performance speaker on the back and is crafted with durable metal material.

Cutting Edge Chopper

Cutting Edge Chopper

Bespoke and hand-crafted from entirely new materials, the Sylvester is probably the least chopped of chopper bikes. Though not built from “scratch,” this far-out concept features many familiar chopper features (each with a futuristic twist) including extended forks, hardtail frame, no rear suspension, dropped drag handlebars and oversized (centerless!) wheels. Ooooh-so-low!

Power Pods for Your Phone!

Power Pods for Your Phone!

Charging cables are sooooooo last season! Which is why we love the ORA pod. It’s a cleverly crafted wireless charger that’s designed to go anywhere you go. The pod’s unique twisting action conceals and reveals a standard plug and lightning connector that charge your phone in an elevated position while plugged in, or when you’re out and about and in need of a boost. As cute as it is compact and convenient, it’s a great alternative to the clutter of those messy cables! See it in action —>

The iPhone Case Reinvented

The iPhone Case Reinvented

A prime example of biomimicry, the exoskeleton-inspired design protects vulnerable areas of your phone and absorbs impact while leaving it virtually bare. It also makes the slippery phone much easier to grip and handle with confidence. Not only that, but it’s just plain nice to look at. Some might argue that the eXo iPhone case might be the first to actually enhance the phone’s existing beauty! DO WANT! Vid after the jump —>

Sexy In Leather

Sexy In Leather

From all the choices of materials available to craft a phone from, leather would be my least expected choice! Aluminum, steel, plastic, rubber, silicone, glass … this conceptual Leather Phone takes the cake. I love it and can only imagine how all the hardware will be fitted into the cover. All we know is that it is designed to be extremely durable and flexible.

Samsung's Memory Master Phone

Samsung’s Memory Master Phone

The Samsung S Guardian concept is similar to the brand’s Galaxy Note Edge but exhibits a couple of standout features that mean big enhancement. The first is a double-sided curved display with dual sidebars that come in handy for both righties and lefties. The second is portable external USB 3.0 memory for easy transfer of your work or other data between home and the office. The phone still operates with the external memory removed, so your calls, messages and emails are never interrupted!

Put A Spin On It

Put A Spin On It

Spinner is a compact phone that measures only 4.7inches and is 7mm thin. Constructed out of aluminum and plastics, the main focus of the design is on the clean interface and camera module, which can be rotated. In a day and age where we have both front and back cameras, it might seem redundant to spinner, however let’s humor the design and factor in cost reduction, better resolution and output from it. What do you guys say?
