Timed Ring
The Ring Clock is a simple approach to marry two of the biggest and much needed accessories that we use. Yes, we wear rings and we wear watches, and it’s not the first time that the two have been integrated. What I really like about the Ring Clock is that it is designed simple, with the clock aspect integrated into the ring’s band. The ring rotates as time goes by, and thus showing the current time.

Where would the battery go? How would you get the mechanics in there to make the rings rotate? How to keep the rings from rotating randomly when putting your hand in your pocket or idly twiddling the ring?
Looks nice but not designed or engineered to actually work.

Very interesting concept, but I’m afraid the small mechanical structure that would drive the clock will never hold up to the stresses it would endure during normal wear…
Kiwi says
Where exactly can I get one?
GL says
just enjoy the concept. 80% of the things you see on this site won’t work, which is what makes this site so interesting though. Some are in the middle of development, some are just dream products. Go to Engadget for working designs on the market already.

Will the clock ring have an alarm feature so I know when to pull out?

Looks like Rhino/Keyshot renderings, if I had to guess.

This is a concept, not a real “item”. Notice the 3D rendering? The textures are missing in the 3rd photo. Never the less, great idea; I want one…or two.
