Dune and Milk
Now, depending on what kind of a person you are, you might have expected that the title of this post had something to do with a wild science fiction movie and a tasty beverage OR, you’d know it’s about some amazing furniture one way or another. And truthfully, yes, there is an abundance of the big F-bomb in here, lots of places to sit, lots of places to put a glass of milk. All of it done by DUNE.
Dune is a furniture design company sitting pretty in SoHo, New York City. They’ve been rolling out the seats and tables now for 10 years and this year they’ve collaborated with some lovely pretty faces. Amongst them are: Harry Allen, Karim Rashid, Jozeph Forakis, Carlos Gastelum, Claesson Koivisto Rune, and Richard Shemtov.
Below you will see the collection “enamored” as presented by Dune for two days at MILK gallery in NY. All work is ©2010 DUNE, photographs by Frank Calabritto (event shots and exhibit shots). And of course all credit due goes to the designers for designing each piece.

Very interesting set of designs. My favorite is Spectre chair. Pipeline is fun and different, really cool. Nice job.
