Toxic Style
I have been covering design and technology for many years now and the product design that excites me the most is the Cellphone. If you trace it from its origins, you will be amazed to see how this communication device has transformed from a basic wireless telephone to a fashion gizmo that packs it in all. If it’s not the camera, projector or touchscreen prowess, then it’s the blinged look that this device boasts of. Here’s a look at the Poison that brings a transparent LCD screen to the device. Looking more like a perfume bottle than a phone, it’s toxic!

Very cool form factor. But why only 1.3mp cam?
The transparent screen would make for a great viewfinder, so why not pack a powerful lens?

Megapixels alone don’t mean diddly squat. Considering the size of the sensors and the quality of the optics used in cameraphones, about 1.3 to 2 megapixels is all you need.
Likewise, no need for a powerful lens. It would ruin the form factor and wouldn’t provide much benefit over digital zoom.

Once you get past the clear screen gimmick, this is a very average cell phone through and through. Then again, what to expect from a company that had the gall to put out a monstrosity like the W700ds.

Yo Pei Hua!, I like your concept as well. I remember when you showed it to me at school. Have to pay respects to Chris Owens and his similar concept too, The Edge. Check it.

Great concept, but hate the shape of it. It’s so… boring. The screen just isn’t going to cut it for me.

No offense, the design looks like a perfume bottle…
I guess it’d captivate the female population…
