Personal Humidifier in a Cup
I don’t know about where you live but here in Los Angeles the air is so incredibly dry, the office becomes stuffy by mid-morning. The simple solution would be to invest in a humidifier but a good one powerful enough to affect a large open office would be huge and expensive. The Pudding Cup is a personal humidifier small enough to lug around, yet powerful enough to moisturize the surrounding air.
It’s designed to look like a pudding dish/cup. It stores away neatly but when those high and dry times come, simply invert and dunk it into a water filled mug. Within minutes fresh water vapor will begin to condense and shoot out. The entire thing is rechargeable via USB. I’ve seen several USB powered humidifiers but none as charming as this.

one quibble, to be usb powerd it would have to be ultrasonic, so vapor not steam. This would be fine in a cubical, where air flow is locolized much less so in open planform offices.

got a better solution, have a cup of tea this gives off lots of hot vapour and you can drink it when it cools too.. what a donkey..!

Leave a black dish on the window sill fill with 1cm of water solution solved. In the UK people who are especilly susceptible to nose bleeds in the winter when its driest leave saucers on the radiators to keep humidity up.
