Designed like a flexible plastic spring, the Trash.zip is a compressible trash can be downsized or upsized according to the amount of garbage disposed. You simply need to line it with the appropriate-sized disposable liner and set it aside. According to the designer, nearly 40% in materials used and weight will result in savings and over 50% of trash’s volume will be condensed so as to release more of the bag’s capacity. In essence this also means less garbage bags used.

wat will hold th expanded dustbin in place? wont it collapse?
You would need some really advanced polymer to be as pliable as that, my friend. Plastic usually has shape memory. You’re looking at a product that will definitely need some hinging and locking mechanisms.
Not to mention that without a garbage bag, that bin could get extremely messy. Let’s stick to our regular bins. Maybe have two bins that stack up or fit into one another. That way we can have twice the garbage space.
