The Ultimate Off-Road Racer

The Duality concept vehicle ambitiously attempts to blur the lines between off-road SUV and race car. But how does it harmonize these extremes? The answer lies in its four dual purpose tires and articulated suspension, both of which transition between 2 modes in the flick of a switch. See how it works —>

    hello,

nice design. One question though : how do you overcome the basic physic principle that makes cones roll in circles (as opposed to cylindres and tores that can roll in straight lines)?
If you build a model of this car, it will not roll due to friction.
if you force it to roll by pushing it, there are two scenarii:
    A) the axle breaks due to the inward (high speed position) or outward(off road position) pressure.
    B) the axle holds but the friction soon causes a catastrophic failure of the tires

One alternative option would be to have on each axle, two cylindric tires, but separated by an angle of, let’s say 70 degrees.

or you could have just one tubeless Tire that has a shallow pattern in high speed configuration and a retractable deeper pattern that would slide through holes in the surface of the tire, adding strong protrusions offering extra traction in all-terrain evironments.

Looks like mini Batman Tumbler vehicle type
    Other uses for:
    Rescue
    Search & rescue
    Cargo
    Medevac
Tourism: say have pod for 40 tourists alone.
    Scout
    Armored vehicle?
    Firefighting wilderness
    Bulldozer.
    Crane

    All from this 1 design.

Test in Baja CA Mex for sure.

Sorry but those wheels dont work.

If you place them straigth (no angle) it might be usable, like that it will just… Not work.
