The Tron Light Cycle gets the Midas Touch!

Inspired by automotive futurist Daniel Simon’s knack for balancing futurism with simplicity, designer Daniela Maria Guerrero takes a stab at reinterpreting his Tron Light Cycle. The concept explores the contrast of metallic materials applied to the original light concept but maintains the form and the modeling details to be as similar as possible to that of Simon’s original work.

The gold detail warms things up, but it still runs on pure liquid energy! Like the original, the vehicle’s speed can be increased by pushing the ends further apart. The front wheel (identical in size to the rear) is locked tight, so turning is limited to tilting the vehicle. To accomplish other maneuvers, a pair of small fins spring out just behind the rider, to aid in balancing or braking.
