Tinkerball to the Rescue
Inspired by the events of 9/11, designers Jiyoung Choi & Namsun Do created the Tinkerball as a life-saving device for a variety of emergency situations from fires to earthquakes. The equipment uses a controlled cable and handle mechanism to serve as a descending life-line for those trapped in high places and needing to escape. Easily installed in apartments or offices, it’s a great life-saving solution for an often overlooked hazard.

I like the design. In order to achieve the desired effect should be in one floor a lot of these devices. What is the length of the rope in this device? Would it can let the twins?
