Magic Pen
Recorder is this magic pen that converts your written notes into electronic files and then transfers it to your phone and computer via Bluetooth. I think it’s a great idea and can actually encourage us writers to take to the book and pen more often. I bet authors and illustrators will love it too! My only wish – it auto spellchecks the files.

Japanese stationery manufacturer Pentel already created something like this. The product is called Airpen Pocket.

Seen so many exactly same concepts, and even actual products on the market that’s been out there for quite a while. Nothing interesting about this.

What makes this a great idea compared to other digital pens is that it’s right sized in it’s purpose and engineering. Create useful IOS and Android apps with OCR, particularly for calendaring and minutes, and you’ll find a significant market among professionals.
