iPhone 5, Really!
What are you predictions for the iPhone 5? I heard someplace that a curved display was in the making and attention was being given to the antenna issues. Designer Michal Bonikowski feels that the new version will be safe and predictable, simply because Apple can’t afford another failed version. In his conceptual version Michal converts glass enclosure into proven aluminum; steel frame remains as a reference to the previous version and directly to the iPad 2. Also, the key functions is converted from mechanical to sensory.
It’s just a matter of time, soon we’ll know how closer to the real thing is this concept.

I do hope Apple will design a much more advanced and innovative looking than this.
The 4 was a step back from the 3 in terms of form.

“Apple can’t afford another failed version”
Really? If the iPhone 4 is a failure, then I can’t wait to see Apple succeed.

This is bullocks.
1) Why do a concept that doesn’t even follow what the rumors regarding the iPhone 5 say?
2) All of this lacks the beautiful proportions that Apple is known for and looks just plain silly. And wtf does“Apple can’t afford another failed version” mean? How is iPhone 4 a failed version? iPhone 4 is by far the best iPhone ever made.

I love this concept, although I’m iffy on the camera placement. I like where it is on the 3G/3GS/4, this looks like it would feel awkward. Also, I really like the idea of a dual Airplain Mode/Shutter button. Apple doesn’t have to go back on their stance of confusing users with volume-up/down-shutter-button hybrid, and can advance functionality.

I think it looks great. The iPhone is a little too thick for my taste, and this would be nice and thin

Looks like 1gen iPad.

The back cant be all aluminum…radio signals cant pass through metals..and that band around has been proven to fail…but the designer probably knew that…”/

Doesn’t need to have a micro USB port as if it wants to sell in the EU

thats why there is a black strip on the back whixh isnt metal, up at the very top, as radio signals will pass through there.

Does it have flash in the front?!

Where’s the silence switch? It looks like the sleep/wake button has been moved next to the volume rocker, unless that’s a dedicated shutter. I don’t think it will look anything like this, though this looks nice.
Commander Jao says
Excuse my grammar
what i meant was it needs a micro USB for it to sell in the EU as shown in the link.

so tired of these apple designs.
its like if you can’t make it as a graphic designer,
just make some second rate mock up
with lens flare and high glossy resolution,
every so called mock-up has never been close or even original.
apple has already said several times the screen goes edge to edge.

Beautiful. Fantastic. Wish Apple really take inspiration from this concept for iPhone 5.
