Umbrella Is High On Grass!
How I love the double-meaning to this title, but sadly (err, debatable!) the grass referred to here is the sober green variety that grows in your backyard. Awesome idea displayed with the Green Trace project! A flat umbrella stand comes fitted with mesh and some pre-sowed seeds; lean wet umbrellas as suggested and let the water drip down to water em greens. Easy in a jiffy get indoors grass; a green patch out of nowhere! How very organically-kitsch!

this looks like something I saw at the Innovation Design Engineering at the RCA show of the design Week, which was a shower mat that collected the water and that watered the grass.

i recalled the same idea, the grass bathroom mat, as soon as I saw this.

Truly the moss and grass bath mats are amazing. But I would love to see this design applied to urban sidewalks and alleys…

I live in a very rainy city, so I would see marvelous growth.
I would much like to have something like this in my home. Presumably, it is currently one of a kind or just a concept now. When, if, might we see this for sale?
