Best Of Two Watch Worlds
Men are greedy and want only the best, so Designer Josh gives into their whims, by designing a classy Digital Analog Watch. The watchface hosts a modern digital display but still functions like a traditional analog watch. Details like date, day of the week, AM/PM are focused to the center. The AM/PM option switches to the seconds counter and a magnetic wrist band secures the watch around the wrist. Josh is all smiles coz his design has been picked by Cadence Watch Company and will go into production soon. Bravo!

yea the green color needs to change, at least to black.
and the magnetic clasp idea seems kinda pickpocket friendly…

Reminiscent of Skagen watches.
Good concept, but the screen is holding it back. An OLED screen would be bright and engaging. Even plain black and white E-ink would work nicely giving it a more pleasant, classic, high contrast look. Probably use less power than OLED too. When people see the pea-green, blocky LCD display they’ll just be reminded of the collection of old, obsolete devices kicking around in their bottom desk drawer.
The guy in the first image kinda looks like a wise guy or something, with the white tie and red shirt. Guys that dress like that tend to wear big gold Rolex Submariners. Heh heh heh…

Sorry, looks cheap and with that magnetic wrist-band you will loose it no time.
I agree with Mr.Carrasquillo, the bigger the better.

White text on black is more difficult to read than the converse, and thus a horrible idea. The bigger the dumber it will look as well. Suunto watches have great functionality but look incredibly stupid on your wrist as large and thick as they are.

I have a digital analogue watch with hands a black face and grey digits. The digits cannot be seen in sunlit and the hands are not illuminated for night and the watch is bulky. The saving grace is that the digital numbers are large and it can either be in 24 or 12 hour mode. At least the Yanko watch is going towards an ideal watch, maybe a different coloured backlight and clearer digital display
