A Danish Super Car?
Oh snap! It’s a Danish super car. Somehow those words don’t go together in my head. When I think super car, I think Japan, America, Italy, Germany, maybe even France and England – but Denmark? It’s true, the Zenvo ST1 is a real Danish supercar with excessive power; a V8 1,104 pony galloping engine to be exact. The turbocharged 7.0 liter 6 speed manual tranny pushes the Zenvo ST1 from 0-60 in just 3 seconds. For safety and legal reasons, the car is electronically limited to 232 mph.
A car that fast needs major brakes to stop it and this baby uses a set of ventilates 380 mm disc brakes and 6 piston calipers up front, 355 mm discs gripped by 6 piston calipers at the rear. Made entirely of a steel frame wrapped in a carbon fiber body, the styling is striking and contemporary. Personally I think it’s a little contrived (angry blowfish?) but a head turner for sure and pretty much unlike any other recognizable super car on the road.
The interior is a different story. It’s pure luxury – strange for a super car. The alcantara leather trimmed interior hosts a bevy of high-tech niceties like dual zone climate control, full set of airbags, cruise control (at 232 mph no less), keyless entry, racing seats, and a G-force meter for all you gear heads.
How much is it gonna cost? I’m not sure but only 15 will be made so you can bet your bottom dollar only 3% 2% 1% .001% of the world’s population can afford it.

I thought building a road legal car with more than 1,000 hp was near impossible and that's one of the things that made the Veyron so special. I guess its easy all of a sudden since I've seen 3 or 4 hyper cars with more than 1,000 hp after the Bugatti.

the reason japan doesn’t have the kind of super cars europe has is in part because of laws restricting speed and power. typically top speed and hp are limited. Do your homework!

You're all idiots, and I rarely ever say that. Only Germans make real sports cars – At least ones that don't require maintenance every other month (There go your Lambos and Ferraris) or ones that require a massive over haul (More turbos than wind generators in Germany, cheap plastic body kits, reconstruction of your weak engines and requirement for more Nitrous-oxide than all the Dentist in the world could afford to buy) after coming out the factory, there go your lousy toy/family cars from Nissan, Toyota, Honda and Subaru. And don't get me started on America, I wouldn't even put them under the category of being cars. They look great in kiddie movies like 'Too Fast and Too Furious' but they will always go down as being ricers.
IF you want a real car that will in fact keep running and continue working long after keeping it going 300km/h on the Autobahn for 4 or 5 consecutive hours, and a car that will actually pass all safety tests and keep you the at the highest possibility rate of allowing you get out of a car on your own powers after a deadly car accident AND have a body design that is for once original and will remain looking "modern" decades (That's right, I said. Just look at a E32 from 87' which was a family car anyways) afterwards, than don't bother picking anything other than Mercedes, BMW or Audi. I'm not even including Porsche or the various tuning companies as Alpina or Brabus that could theoretically go under the title of being standalone automotive makers by definition that also kick the living hell out of any other automotive company that originates from anywhere but Germany, I won't even bother getting into any details in this post because I'm wasting more time than I should be as it is but I couldn't just let this go. This entire discussion is closed, I'm sorry, haha.

Correct, if you have a cubic cranium and want everyone to hate you. You don't buy a supercar for reliability you buy it for the love of motoring, which is why most people buy a Ferrari, and Lamborghini or an Aston Martin. Sorry, discussion closed BwaHA! HA! Can I quote you on this, “I think Japan, America, Italy, Germany, maybe even France and England” I have to say you dont know much about super cars if you think America, Japan and France have spawned more super cars. British cars are among the fastest cars in the world and a quick look in your history book will show how many there has been, another point look up thrust SSC world land speed record! I have never seen a good American supercar to date, fast yes drive like wagons yes, no refinement in a Dodge Viper or a Corvette, Big engines thats it. Laz says
Wow, most of you are just plain ignorant, not to mention misinformed and a bit too much on your high horse…
American supercar —> SSC Ultimate Aero
Now with that one out of the way, all of the countries mentioned have spawned at LEAST one actual supercar, as there are many that have been one offs and custom builts. The fact is that very few companies except for the big marketable ones (e.g Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche, etc.) can get by mass marketing their very expensive/exclusive cars to the normal masses, and they don't even need to since the people that can afford them will find them quite easily from car shows/exclusive events/unveilings/etc.
In short, don't think you've seen every supercar out there, because chances are you haven't. Because of that, don't go saying some country hasn't made a supercar or one is superior than another, unless you can prove it of course.
Good day sirs and/or madams.
Alex Final says
The car looks good has plenty of horse power and torque to get you going with a nice set of brakes. Will be nice to see some track times and see how well it handles. In all could be a really great car.
Kenz says
Max half your list of cars aren't owned by England anymore or are a dieing companies. Also Dan if you look at Fastest cars around tracks they are German, Italian, American, and Japanese. Sure England does have some amazing cars and I do like British super cars like the Mclaren F1 but British cars don't even use motors that they make like the Mclaren F1 has a BMW V12, lotus uses all Toyota motors, Ariel atom uses a Honda motor, the Ultima GTR uses a GM motor. For a country that makes such great cars they sure can't make their own motors. Not to mention that all those British cars are so over priced that most average people can't buy them. Look at cars like the Nissan GTR, Corvette Zr1, Dodge Viper, Porsche 911 Turbo. These are just a few cars that preform amazingly well that are all in the 100,000 Dollar. Your completely ignorant to cars if you believe that the best country alone is England every country has made and makes great super cars. For the writer to say “even France and Britain” France and Britain now have very little super cars. Britain may have had a huge influence in the past but here in the present they haven't really been making and impact on the auto market super car or not.
