The X-gate addresses one of the biggest situations faced in the aftermath of an earthquake: entrapment. Typically, doors are heavy and main doors are dead-bolt heavy for a reason. The X-gate’s design is such that it can be shattered with ease, thus aiding rescue operations. I suppose its ideal for cities that live in the earthquake zone.
