As human bodies strive hard to cope with environments they are not originally intended for, preventive measures attain as much significance as treatments. The ‘Twist+’ dry inhaler makes use of innovative technology to help with both prevention and treatment of Asthma attacks.
Designed by Diana Dumitrescu, the dry powder inhaler also houses a sensor which can detect the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds in the surrounding air. Air quality reports will be then sent to a dedicated smartphone App to warn the user. The handy App can also remind the user in case they forgot the inhaler at home.
