The Pleasure Pressure

I am not a medic, but I do know that if you apply pressure to a wound, the compression generally helps to heal and alleviate the pain. The Anti-compression Bandages has been designed on the lines to help ease out the pain thanks to an external compression integrated within the bandage. It even allows paramedics to monitor the wound safely. I guess the concept can be tested in limited conditions to see if it really works. What do you think?

Anti-compression Bandages is a 2013 red dot award: design concept winner.

  • Isn’t one of the primary functions of a traditional bandage to save others from the experience of having to look at your open wound?

Bandages are supposed to stop the bleeding via pressure. So yes, testing would need to be done.
