The USB Drive

Sometimes innovation is about coming up with new ways to do the same old chore. For example, if you need to access files from your portable Hard Drive and transfer them to a USB key, then you need to route it through the Laptop or PC. Without PC is a device that eliminates this step; it features a touchscreen that facilitates easy transfer of files from the Hard Drive to the USB.

Without PC is a 2013 iF design award – concept design entry.

You could always connect both and open both folders at the same time.

Actually, this is an awesome little product.

Remember, it isn’t claiming to do something new. It’s just saying that it can do something that you already do with less hassle.

Instead of having to boot you computer, regardless if it’s a desktop or laptop, and waiting for it to get to the point where you can login, then wait for your login to complete, then go find the file(s) you want to transfer, you can pretty much go straight to finding the file(s) and transfer them.

Cool little tool. No it isn’t necessary, but it can make things go a little quicker.

  • First off I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question which
I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how
you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.

I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting
my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but
it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thank you!
