Fine Line Displayed

The M-Phone is a unique concept where the display real estate that can give the iPhone 5 a run for its money. However unlike the iPhone, there is a fine metal band that divides the display into two. The band slides up and down and depending upon the usage, it transforms one end into a keypad, gaming control or media controls. People were skeptic if a long slender display will go down well with mobile phone users. Given the way Apple is laughing all the way to the bank right now, such radical and elegant design concepts are the next step in evolution.

M-Concept is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry.

design makes no sense the top and bottom of display are open not protected, it looks good but not realistic, and slider will make huge mechanical problems, it has to be solved by software not hardware.
