Spice up the art of cooking with these delightful salt ‘n peppers shakers called the Samba! Akin to playing the maracas, these shakers bring back the fun-element in cooking. Handcrafted in fine bone china, they come in three versions and two finishes: salt and pepper, salt and chilli or sugar and cocoa; in red or black silicone rubber seals finishes. My pick is the sugar and cocoa in black!
Designer: Ingrid Ruegemer
Great project, but the brazilian music of samba does not use maracas.
who cares? it's still a cool name

Besides being a shameless copy from the Fukasawa Maracas, the designer didn't even took the trouble to check that in the brazilian music samba there are no maracas at all… this things are used in caribean music. As Larry David would say: Pretty, pretty lame.
