Peeling With Three Variations

There is a reason why potato peelers come with brown handles; to blend in with the peels, so that you accidentally throw it out with the trash and replace it with a new one. With a sophisticated peeler like this Rotary Peeler, I doubt any such accidents will happen. Not only is it designed really simple, it’s got functionality multiplied 4 times! How? Well for starters it’s got three different blade options for peeling (one for potatoes, a serrated one for soft fruits and veggies and a third to cut uber-smooth juliennes), and a potato-eye weeder.

The whole peeler disassembles so that you can clean it up nice and easily. Maybe the many options of peeling and cutting juliennes will spark some creative cooking! What do you think?

What is the improvement on the existing products other than the 3 blades? How do the blades rotate in the plastic structure? That isn't at all clear. It doesn't show it being used in a normal way – typically people hold the vegetable they are slicing/peeling and this is less able to be manipulated easily.

How is it lease easy to manipulate. I thnk its awesome. – LoL…ur a character.

why are you peeling a tomato?

  • I have a peeler like this and I don't like it because it is really awkward to do while holding the vegetables. It always feels like the blade is coming right for my hand. notice that don't show any pictures of someone doing it while holding the vegetables because then you would see how awkward it is.

I've never seen a potato peeler with a brown handle. Mine have always had shiny metal handles. Do you have trouble with your wooden handled knives too?

Really cool looking peeler. Just wondering if you (or anyone else) have actually used it? It seems like the size of it would make peeling a bit awkward? The fact that it doesn’t have a traditional handle makes me wonder if it wont work as well…hopefully it just takes some getting used to, b’cuz I think I will be purchasing this ASAP! Thanks for the tip!

Well I’d see this thing sliding right off the vege onto my hand, thus becoming a human peeler. No, I think I’ll stick to my RADA peeler. It’s amazing.

Id like to know if it could be taken apart and cleaned. Looks like a nice design for someone with a weak grip.

    • Krista says:

Yes, according to the description it can be completely taken apart and is also dishwasher safe.

not clear at all it doesnt show the actual use, ppersonally i think a sharp blade and and a little hand-eye coordination still do a very great job, and it looks impresiive for the showers here….[admin now dont u dare not show this comment it is serious and accurate….]

  • Plz explain the second picture…the function is not cleared in that pic as the shot has been taken a bit early..

    Best regards.

  • It seems unnecessary but it looks like a really cool gadget nevertheless.

  • This looks great, but looks a bit cumbersome. I wonder how sharp it is?

  • Corinne says:

This peeler looks amazing! Would love one though just wondering if it stays sharp, and if not, can it be sharpened?
