If you were to strip off the mouse and bring it to the bare essential, how would you design it? Kim Hye-shin perceives it as a single strip that can be bent into the infinite-sign-shape, with only the necessary features on it. Interesting take, but not for everyone; Bendy M may be a good enough design if your focus is more on the keyboard and use a mouse just as a pointer. But for a mouse that needs to help me do Photoshop, I need substance, grip, the whole nine yards. Then again one man’s medicine is another’s poison!

ähm battery? Ive never seen a optical mouse without electricity.
Pretty neat and portable concept. Curious about the comfort level and if it will keep its shape over time.
Very funny concept… but I don’t think it will be very effective…
realyyyy goood …tnxxx
oh is very good…
How does it work? I don't understand where the power is coming from, where the buttons are receiving their commands, or how the mouse communicates with the computer. And for some reason, nanobots just doesn't seem like a plausible explanation……yet

To the various people questioning the technological feasibility: this isn't supposed to be feasible. It, like most designs on this website, aren't intended to be final product designs but exploratory looks at how we interact with and look at certain products.

i like how he has both hands on a mouse.

There's nothing astounding or novel about drawing a picture of a currently functional and aesthetically pleasing object redesigned. Real design needs to marry function with form. Besides all of that, that mouse looks ugly, decidedly uncomfortable and unwieldy. It also intends to fix a problem that doesn't exist. When has anyone complained about the portability of a mouse? (Especially now in the age of bluetooth)

That mouse would flat out piss me off to use.

It seems like a nice mouse to use when just surfing the web or checking e-mail and such but for practical use it is not useful at all

As compact and innovative designs go this is quite an interesting one, I guess I'd consider it as a travel option although there are a lot of alternatives which would probably be more efficient.
