A round of paper cuts on the house…
It’s Monday and what better time to argue about “what is design and what isn’t” than today? Let me give you all some good ammunition to start with. This is called “One Drink Cup” by Mikhail Stawsky. This person has taken paper folding to new highs with this fold-it-yourself shot glass design. Get it “new highs”? “shot glass”?… yeah, I’m not laughing either. So is this design or just clever origami?

magazines and shots are often not in the same place at the same time. so i consider it useless design. but to the what is what isn’t design question. If someone has made something, its designed. Now if its useless or useful should be the question

hmm…looks like you will be dribbling whatever liquid you are trying to drink all down your chin. Maybe they can start placing magazines at bars so you can be well-read while you drink, unless you are reading, say, Entertainment Weekly. Or maybe this is a rediculous idea.

Cute idea, would never take off.
