The Longest Mobile Phone Ever Or Just Looks It

Candy bars, flips, bricks, diamonds - phones come in a myriad of monikers but a common denominator are their form factors. For the most part they’re designed to be pocketable. You can throw all those expectations out the window because designer Tamer Koseli wants no part of it. His NEED Phone is probably the longest mobile phone concept we’ve seen.

He argues mobile phones are basic multimedia gadgets, far from their traditional aim of communication. He wanted to create a device with no superfluous features. That’s right, you won’t find a MP3 player, video capabilities, or even a camera. But WAIT! Don’t dismiss the Super Phone yet because it’s got a touchscreen. Scratch that, it’s got 2 touchscreens. Oh what? DAMN! Yes friends one is an OLED that displays basic info - whatever that is while the other is where finger play happens - scrollin’ for daysssss. Best part is when the thing breaks, just use it as a protective weapon. I’m sure it could double as a baton.

Would be interesting to see the kinds of cases manufacturers would make for this.

looking at the size of the phone compared to the sim card it looks more like a twig than a baton
it looks like fun to use tho.

You are wrong in the “it’s got 2 touchscreens.” One is touchscreen, the second is OLED that is not a touchscreen.

LOL dude… u better check out real size of this cool phone before start
making a jokes about how long it is!!

size is: WIDTH: 2cm LENGTH: 14 cm DEPTH: 0,5 cm

So if u really plan to use this HUGE 14 cm phone as a baton to protect yourself,
maybe better find small enemy or he will laugh himself to death lol

I really shouldn’t retaliate against a grammatically challenged individual such as yourself, but since you praise this idiotic concept so heavily I feel that it is my duty to trip you up and allow you to fall flat on your face.

This is basically just an iphone that has been stupidly squeezed and stretched.

If (as you stated) the width of this phone is 2cm it would make the screen about 1.6cm wide. Since this phone demonstrates to be a horizontal functioning interface you would require a magnifying glass in order to read any of your contacts.

14cm as a length dimension is pretty damn long. Let’s, however, slightly gravitate towards some form of reality and place a phone screen width of 2.4cm - making the length 21cm long.

So I’m quite confident I could batter you with it.
