A Watch For The Extrovert

Inspired by HR Giger’s amorphous designs, the Draught Watch carries the idea of symbiosis by proposing the watch and the wearer are one. The design is a bit outside the box but nothing is ever too weird for us extroverts.

It may be inspired by Giger but if it went into production there’d be legal trouble with the Disney people from the shape of the links in the band.

A lot of design are inspired by well known designers, so I don’t really see the issue here.

very cool, i think it captures a “spinal” and organic/bone like feeling. neat interface too.

my only dislike are the metal links between the white shapes on the band….besides looking weak, i think they really take away from the organic purity of the rest of the watch. i think those connections could be handled a lot better, maybe the white links connect to each other directly, or the metal links are more buried or hidden from sight. sry, thats all :)

Doesn’t seem to accommodate for minutes that aren’t multiples of 5, although the concept is certainly pleasing to look at.

This looks disgusting… no one in the right mind would even think of buying this
